Yesterday, accidentally I clicked into a online website www.prescriptionglassesonline.net it turned out to be a online shop for glasses. I have never been to such online shops just for glasses, so I lingered along for a long time to figure it out the essence of this online shop for glasses.
Then I found out a type of glasses that I have never heard before: the prescription sunglasses！ This is weird, I mean I have heard of prescription glasses, actually I have got one in my sophomore year with were bought in my hometown. The doctor suggested that I shouldn’t wear prescription glasses for I have such kind of eye disease and such glasses would do nothing but further worsen my current situation. However partly out of curiosity and partly for rebellion, I didn’t follow the doctor’s advice and bought one to school. Even though the result turned out not exactly as what the doctor said, I really suffered a lot for wearing such glasses. Because firstly I always not sure about the appropriate procedures of wearing it and another problem was that it always took quite a bunch of time to do it. So I just gave up in the end and turned to my normal glasses for rescue.
As I have illustrated my terrible experiences above, I was really curious and wandered about how could a prescription sunglasses should be like? Would it be totally black or half black? Do people have to put them into their eyes? I thought and unfortunately didn’t figure the answer out, so out of curiosity I searched the internet for further information.
To my great sorrow, the answer turned out to so ridiculous because we are not dealing with the same thing. What I have thought about the prescription sunglasses are totally different from the website showed me. What in my mind were actually contact lens, but the website showed me was just normal glasses. Anyway I was happy because such experience taught me a lesson and let me to a deal. The lesson was that you should never ever trust your feelings without further examination, for feelings could lead you to nowhere but wrong destinations always, only the knowledge you have fight for could ensure you the rightness. And the deal was that actually I found that the prescription sunglasses are on sale and it only cost $12.90, I was very happy to find such cheap and fine in quality glasses online and brought one pair immediately for myself and planned to buy another pair for my father. I’m sure he will be very cool to wear it.
